Russell Crowe gives up smoking for son
Australian actor Russell Crowe has kicked the butt after his young son caught him stubbing out a sneaky cigarette. The 46-year-old actor admits he spent years smoking more than two packs a day, but was always careful to hide his habit from his children, Charlie, six, and Tennyson, four.

(I was) smoking 40 on an easy day, but on a day when I would be up at 4am and still up at midnight, then it was 60-plus and it just got to the point where my body was telling me I had to stop," Crowe said. The ''Gladiator'' star ultimately quit his nicotine addiction after Charlie caught him smoking a puff.
"The reality break was that my kids never saw me smoke and Charlie is a little older at six and is in that phase where he is sneaking up on me all the time. I was in my office.
and I thought I heard my office door open and I looked around and couldn''t see anything, so I had my cigarette," Crowe said. "Later on I leant over to put my cigarette out and he was lying between the couch and the table and he very definitely saw me having a smoke.
And that was my very last one," he added.
Hilary Duff planning a small wedding
Actress Hilary Duff is planning a small wedding with her fiance, hockey star Mike Comrie. Duff says she doesn't want to look like a "cupcake" on her big day. "We want to keep it small. Mike's like,"whatever you want!'," said teh 22 year-old singer, who got engaged last month.
Hilary is planning a "traditional" ceremony. "I want it to be traditional. i dont want it to be big and overwhelming, because I'm so small. A big dress would make me look like a big cupcake," she said.
Comrie proposed to Duff during a romantic break in Hawaii with a 12 carat diamond ring worth $1 million.
Woods will play Masters : Nicklaus
Jack Nicklaus will be partcipating in next month’s Masters. He thinks Tiger Woods will also make an appearance.
Nicklaus said Wednesday that "it would surprise me" if Woods did not return to competitive golf in time for the Masters, a tournament the embattled world No. 1 has won four times in his career.
"I suspect he’ll play something before Augusta," Nicklaus said behind the 18th green at PGA National, where the Honda Classic opens on Thursday. "Your guess is as good as mine. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t play something before Augusta."
Nicklaus has been reluctant to comment much about Woods since the scandal broke out, saying more than once that someone else's private life isn't any of his business. He reiterated that belief again Wednesday after finishing his Pro-Am round at the South Florida course he redesigned.
