Lisa Ray Free of Cancer
After struggling for ten months of cancer-stricken life, the Canada-born actress has finally got rid of it.
She was suffering from the multiple myeloma, a rare kind of cancer in that attacks white blood cells and destroys bone. In January, she got stem cell transplant to treat this rare kind of cancer.
It was a long fight for the 38-year-old actress, but then, she knew she has to put a brave front. And now, she is ready to embark into a new journey and will be visiting India soon. Projects and modeling assignments are waiting and she is even thinking of taking up writing.
Lisa tells an agency, “This has hijacked my life for long enough and now I am going to take matters into my own hands,” and that it’s a “reborn from the inside out.”
The oh-so-beautiful actress looked ‘bald’stunning as she made her first public appearance, after getting cured, in Los Angeles. She was even named one of the most beautiful people in the world by Indian and the Canadian media.
Her next film is ‘Cooking With Stella’.
